2-Hour High Adventure Snowmobile Tour

Experience our amazing PRIVATE PARADISE 14 miles south of Copper Mountain, just north of the old mining town of Leadville, Colorado. Get used to your Polaris 550 RMKswhile riding the meadows near the base camp then follow steep trails up through the forest to remote areas far from the crowds. Riders will enjoy thrilling sport riding on the windswept alpine tundra high on the Continental Divide then play in powder filled bowls high above tree line at the Top of the World. Enjoy panoramic views of the tallest mountains in North America.  Our guides love to ride so get ready for your best day in Colorado.

Important Details

• A gratuity of $60 will be included at checkout on this tour as we assign only our most experienced guides to the tour. The gratuity goes directly to the guide after the tour.
• No passengers are allowed on this tour. Experienced riders only.
• This tour is 2 hours long. Allow for more time than that for check in and gearing up.
• Pregnant ladies cannot participate.
• We do not provide transportation. Cell phone service is limited so please plan ahead! This makes it difficult to use Uber or Lyft, so we do not recommend that. Our website has a Useful Links page that includes information on shuttle companies you can use if you do not have a vehicle.
• A Liability Waiver must be filled out prior to gearing up and heading out on the snowmobile.
• A credit card is required at check-in to be used in the rare event of damage. We accept all
  major credit cards.

What to Wear

• Dress warm, ski apparel is appropriate. Neck Gators and scarves are appropriate.
• We do not provide suits, boots, gloves, or goggles.
• Anyone arriving without appropriate clothing cannot participate.    
• We provide helmets. Ski helmets are not appropriate for snowmobiling.

9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m.

White Mountain has a 48-hour cancellation policy:  A total refund can only be given if we are
notified 48 hours in advance of the tour date. 
Refunds will not be given for people who do not show up
on the day of the tour.  If 4 people are
booked and only three people come, we will not refund for the "no show
person". ALWAYS CALL TO ADVISE IF SOMEONE IS NOT COMING.  OFTEN PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE AND THEY ARE CLOSE BY. SO CALL, 970-668-5323 OR 719-486-7354.

Detailed driving directions:  

White Mountain Base Camp is located at 6492 Highway 91, Leadville, Colorado 80461.  From Interstate 70 take Exit 195, Copper
Mountain/Leadville.  Continue south on Highway 91 for 14 miles to mile marker 7. 
Turn left into our driveway where the 100' high tower stands.  Flags fly from the tower and on the entrance
road.  Check in at the bright red building.
