Experienced riders on this 3-hour tour will range out into remote areas to explore challenging steep mountain trails through the forest, the craggy windswept tundra high on the Continental Divide and back-country bowls filled with champagne powder. White Mountain has been hosting riders since 1990 with the highest and most exciting sport riding at altitudes up to 12,800'.  The company's spectacular 2,500 acre PRIVATE Property is a rare jewel available only to guests riding with White Mountain Tours.  No other riders can access this area.  This ride is not for the Faint of Heart as the thrills just keep on coming.  

This ride has a set guide gratuity of $80.00 per rider which should be paid to the guide after your tour.  Groups are very small and we will assign one of our best guides to the tour.

Wear warm winter clothing appropriate for frigid temperatures.  You will need long pants, jackets, waterproof insulated boots, gloves, scarf or neck gator, goggles or sun glasses..  face coverings are required in the check in building.    Helmets are provided.  Ski helmets are not appropriate for snowmobiling.  

*Arrival is 8:30 a.m. for this 9:00 tour. 

This tour is for experienced single riders only.  No passengers are allowed on this tour.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN A STANDARD LIABILITY WAIVER BEFORE TOURING.  Guides and management reserves the right to terminate any tour if rider is deemed to be riding in an unsafe manner or disregards instructions or warnings.  Riders are responsible for any damage to the snowmobile.

Driving Directions:  From Interstate 70 take Exit 195, Copper Mountain/Leadville.  Continue South on Highway 91 for 14 miles.  Slow down at Mile Marker 7 on the left, see our blue signs on the right, turn left into our driveway well marked with colorful flags.  You will also see a 100' tall tower in the parking lot.  Meet your guides in the bright red two-story building.

Snowmobile Helmets are
provided. Ski helmets are not appropriate.

 

WE DO NOT PROVIDE SUITS, BOOTS OR GOGGLES.  Guests must arrive in warm and
appropriate winter clothing including jackets, pants, gloves, scarves, goggles
or sunglasses. Please bring a scarf, facemasks or neck gator.  Arrive properly dressed or you will be unable
to participate.

 

NO PASSENGERS ARE ALLOWED ON THIS TOUR.

 

A credit card
is required at check-in to be used in the rare event of damage. We accept all
major credit cards.

 

White Mountain has a 48-hour cancellation policy:  A total refund can only be given if
we are notified 48 hours in advance of the tour date. 
Refunds will
not be given for people who do not show up on the  day of the tour.  If 4 people are booked and only three people
come, we will not refund for the "no show person".  Always call the office if someone decided not to come at the last minute.  Often customers are waiting for people to cancel last minute, they are nearby, and would love to have the snowmobile you have reserved.  All reservations must be booked and paid in
advance.

 

*A standard liability waiver must be signed before participating in any
activity.

 

THIS TOUR HAS A MANDATORY GUIDE GRATUITY OF $70.00 AND SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE GUIDE AT THE END OF THE TOUR.  YOU CAN CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD OR CASH IS OK.  YOUR PROFESSIONAL GUIDE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO SHOWING YOU A GREAT TIME.
